SFSA Open Studio
Every summer, the SFSA opens it’s doors to the public on a day known as SFSA Open Studio. You can come in and see the artists, designers, photographers and other creatives at work. It’s the biggest event of its kind in London, and the ideal place to see all things #art, #fashion, #photography and more.
There are also some fun opportunities to join in yourself. There are a number of drop-in workshops where you can try your hand at translating a simple drawing into print. You’ll find this at the SFSA Education Space.
Meanwhile outside in the Atrium, there’s a family activity to create your own willow structure together.
These sort of activities aren’t restricted to the Open Studio weekend – there’s a regular programme of family workshops to coincide with school holidays.
You can find out about the next SFSA Open Studio, and the other activities that take place outside that weekend at the SFSA website
As you may know, our sister company Zayah Jewellery is based at the SFSA, the largest single-site creative industry centre in London, home to over 450 designers, artists and craftspeople.
London is a world leader in the creative industries, and we’re proud to have been part of this particular hub since our first day.
Housed on the banks of the Thames in Greenwich, the centre has views of the Thames Barrier and London. Whether it’s sunny or wet, the views are always inspirational.
As well as photographers, artists, furniture makers, fashion designers and of course jewellers, SFSA is also home to The Reach – London’s largest climbing wall, and Aircraft – our very own circus training school and performance company!
There’s also great coffee at the Canteen, the SFSA cafe, and wonderful Ethiopian food, as this is the place where the Ethiopian Vegetarian Food stall at Greenwich Market is prepared.
We are at Unit 0/Studio #2
